Long-Term Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong Data Center Networking and Deployment experience to support large-scale network infrastructure deployments across Data Centers and Point of Presence (POP) locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network installation, troubleshooting, routing, switching, fiber optics, and Linux environments. Required Experience 8+ years of overall IT experience 3+ years of Data Center Networking experience Strong Network Support and Deployment background Experience working in Data Center and POP environments Required Skills Data Center Networking Cisco and/or Juniper Networking Routing & Switching TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF Network Deployment & Implementation Fiber Optics and Optical Networking DWDM Technologies Linux Administration IPv6 Rack & Stack Deployments Network Troubleshooting Network Documentation Asset Management Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and support network infrastructure in Data Centers and POP sites. Install and troubleshoot routers, switches, fiber, and optical equipment. Perform rack and stack activities, cable routing, and hardware installations. Create rack elevations, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and port mappings. Support network turn-up activities and deployment projects. Manage network assets and hardware lifecycle activities. Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues. Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal engineering teams. Support RMA processes and hardware replacements. Maintain accurate technical documentation.
