Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for end users in Chester, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues while ensuring timely resolution of IT support requests. Responsibilities Provide onsite desktop and laptop support to end users. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues. Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and Outlook. Perform PC imaging, deployments, upgrades, and replacements. Manage user accounts, password resets, and Active Directory tasks. Support mobile devices and peripheral equipment. Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate support teams. Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment tracking. Required Skills 2+ years of Desktop/Help Desk Support experience. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments. Experience with Active Directory and Office 365. Hardware troubleshooting and break/fix support. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
