ELECTRONICS TECH MAINTENANCE II - GMDT
(W-TRS) Phoenix Logistics, LLC Jun 09, 2026 Description We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician Maintenance II to join the ever-growing Phoenix Defense team. This position provides technical support for the Crew TADSS, Ground Maintenance Driver Trainers (GMDT) devices under the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS).Responsibilities:
- The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Devices
- Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
- Applies basic technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
- Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
- Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into the Management Information System (MIS)
- Applies basic technical knowledge to solve routine problems
- Ensuring that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
- This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with the GDMT devices preferred
- 3 - 5 years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting
- Intermediate computer and networking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and On-Post driving privileges
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Must be a High School Graduate or have a
GED Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills
