ELECTRONICS TECH MAINTENANCE II - GMDT
(W-TRS) Phoenix Logistics, LLC Jun 09, 2026 Description We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician Maintenance II to join the ever-growing Phoenix Defense team. This position provides technical support for the Crew TADSS, Ground Maintenance Driver Trainers (GMDT) devices under the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS).
Responsibilities:
  • The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Devices
  • Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
  • Applies basic technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
  • Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
  • Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into the Management Information System (MIS)
  • Applies basic technical knowledge to solve routine problems
  • Ensuring that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
  • This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience with the GDMT devices preferred
  • 3 - 5 years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting
  • Intermediate computer and networking skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and On-Post driving privileges
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Must be a High School Graduate or have a
GED Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills
