Full Time Additional Detail Job Description:
The Lead User Experience Technical Professional provides technical support for university-managed IT resources within Campus Life Services. Responsibilities include managing desktop/laptop systems, printers, POS devices, Office 365, safety systems (e.g., door access, alarms), and client/server applications. The role emphasizes strong customer service, thorough documentation, and consistent follow-through. The position also involves supervising and training student workers, hourly, and classified staff, ensuring technical proficiency and proper staffing levels. It includes scheduling, performance review, coaching, and acting as the first escalation point for technical issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures for computer and communications systems. Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures for enterprise system and application administration. Considerable knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures for the support of application based databases and reporting. Ability to drive results in a complex environment and to work and finish multiple projects concurrently Ability to work with new leading edge technology with minimal assistance or limited prior knowledge. Working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot computer and mobile operating systems (Windows 7/8/8.1/10, MacOS 10.X, iOS, Android), hardware, software, peripherals, and appropriate system management and security tools in a network environment. Working knowledge of supervisory duties to include scheduling, onboarding, training, mentorship
