Job Description:
IT Specialist - Richmond, Virginia A well-established chemical manufacturer is seeking an IT Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. This role will support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and help maintain a reliable and secure IT environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage helpdesk tickets and provide timely technical support to end users
  • Set up new users, hardware, and software while delivering basic user training
  • Troubleshoot Windows-based systems, networks, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and training materials
  • Support daily network operations and coordinate with external IT vendors as needed Qualifications
  • Degree in IT or related field and/or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience with Windows 10, Windows Servers, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Office 365
  • Understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with FortiGate firewalls is a plus The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
