Environment build & readiness: Drive DEV/TEST/PROD
readiness (server sizing inputs, VM provisioning coordination, storage, OS baseline, access, endpoint readiness). Network & security enablement: Own/coordinate firewall rule requests, port/protocol mapping, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting across app/DB/file shares/instrument endpoints. Certificates / PKI:
Coordinate TLS certificates (requests, installation coordination, renewals), validate trust chains, and troubleshoot TLS/certificate issues impacting services/web components. Identity & access: Manage AD groups, service accounts permissions, least privilege access, and access matrix documentation. Application technical support:
Support install/upgrade readiness activities for Agilent ECM, Chromeleon CDS, Rotronic RMS, and Waters LC/MS data flow touchpoints (or comparable platforms). Operational readiness:
Coordinate backup/restore approach, monitoring requirements, AV exceptions (as needed), patching windows, and operational runbooks for steady-state support. Cutover & hypercare: Execute/coordinate cutover readiness checklists, smoke tests, and hypercare triage with IT and vendors; maintain issue log and drive resolution. Ensure comprehensive technical documentation is developed and maintained throughout the SDLC for the SDMS upgrade program. This includes compiling System Design Specifications received from vendors, preparing and updating the Access Control Plan, documenting the Transition to Support process, and other required artifacts to support operational readiness and traceability. Mandatory skills : Experience with Thermo Fisher Chromeleon CDS, Agilent ECM, Rotronic RMS, and/or Waters LC/MS integrations (or comparable lab informatics platforms). Experience supporting lab/instrument environments (segmented networks, instrument PCs, controlled patching windows). PowerShell/scripting for verification/health checks and log collection. Familiarity with validation support artifacts (IQ/OQ readiness evidence, configuration records). 5+ years in technical analyst/systems analyst roles supporting enterprise on prem applications. Strong experience with Windows Server and enterprise application troubleshooting (services, logs, performance basics) Proven success coordinating server provisioning (VMs, storage, access, environment readiness) Proven experience with firewall rules/port management, DNS basics, connectivity testing, and issue triage Working knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates and enterprise PKI request processes Experience with Active Directory, service accounts, permissions, and least privilege concepts Familiarity with SQL Server connectivity concepts (instances, ports, authentication patterns) and partnering with DBAs Experience operating in change-controlled / regulated environments (documentation, traceability, governance) The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour.
