6 Months (Possible Extension) ????
Work Type:
Onsite - Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on end-user support and technology assistance in a fast-paced field environment. Candidates must be local to the Roanoke/Salem, VA area and available to work onsite daily. ????
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-user support for desktop, laptop, and wireless devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely manner
  • Support Microsoft technologies including Windows, Point, MS Office Suite Online, and MS Teams
  • Manage and track help desk requests using ticketing/reporting tools
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues and communicate resolutions effectively
  • Support field staff with new technologies and innovative technical solutions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a customer-first approach
  • Travel within the assigned district using a state vehicle as needed ?

Required Skills:
? Strong troubleshooting and desktop support experience ? Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Teams, and Point ? Experience with help desk ticketing systems and reporting tools ? Excellent communication and customer service skills ? Valid driver's license with clean driving history required ? Ability to work independently in an onsite support environment ????
