About the Role As a Field Systems Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in the lifecycle of complex mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring high-performance outcomes for integrated systems. You will bridge the gap between engineering design and real-world application, utilizing your technical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize systems in diverse operational environments. Responsibilities Drive the successful execution of system rebuilds and outage support initiatives to minimize downtime. Execute onsite maintenance, configuration, and operational testing of sophisticated integrated hardware. Coordinate logistics and procurement by generating purchase requisitions to support project timelines. Fabricate, validate, and perform peer-level inspections of system sub-components based on CAD drawings and electrical schematics. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of excellence. Maintain flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to support emergent field requirements and project scopes. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent combination of high school diploma and 4+ years of hands-on technical experience. Proficiency in interpreting complex mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Demonstrated expertise in precision soldering techniques (e.g., J-STD-001 standards). Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, HI Pot testers, and power supplies. Preferred Skills Deep understanding of integrated system architecture and component-level troubleshooting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate engineering procedures into functional outcomes. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
