OnCare Digital Assets is the largest third-party Quality Control System service provider on the continent, providing automation support to several pulp and paper industry leaders. We at OnCare Digital Assets are excited to announce that due to tremendous growth within our organization, it is now time to invite an experienced QCS professional to join our leadership team as a Technical Service Manager to support the Midwest Region . This role carries lots of opportunity for future advancement and long-term career growth within the pulp & paper industry. If you are not already located in the state of Washington, this position would require relocation to this area. Someone who keeps safety #1 at all times for our employees, customers, and business Within the world of pulp & paper, sculpt quality, long-term business relationships with customers and continue to nurture existing customer contracts and endeavors Ensure timely and cost-effective service contracts by providing preventative maintenance and service according to contract requirements, be an advocate for customer savings, deliver on commitments, and maximize customer satisfaction and peace of mind Lead by example to establish and maintain positive employee relations and productivity by fostering open communication, providing regular performance feedback, ongoing talent assessment, identifying, and communicating goals, conducting career development discussions with reports and help employees to build development plans in support of current and future technology needs as well as customer relations skills Shape team members to drive achievement of customer results, implementation of process improvements, customer satisfaction and increase performance levels wherever possible Effectively manage a dispersed and culturally diverse services team Champion our safety culture through demonstrated understanding, commitment and action supporting the organizations safety and environmental requirements/regulations Contribute to the development of training packages for the field. Personally assist with on-the-job training and ensure that it is performed across the board Conduct regular site inspections and reviews Provide first level technical support: request and coordinate any additional technical support in the area. Submit to Business Manager, recommendations on promotions and salary reviews based on employee performance. Ensure the proper preventative maintenance, documentation and site management are performed by personnel assigned to area. Ensure that performance reports are correctly written and distributed. Provide technical support (hardware and software) as required, to Systems Specialists in the area. We know you can handle these things because you have experience like: 5-8 years of related experience within paper mills and QCS Technology (Honeywell and/or ABB) Successful experience servicing industrial automation, technical knowledge/application of Quality and Distributed Control Systems (QCS/DCS) and process control Understanding of Good Maintenance Practices, Root Cause Failure Analysis and task scheduling Demonstrated track record interfacing and presenting solutions to manufacturing customers within all levels of management Strong people skills and communication (both verbal and writing) Proven track record of demonstrated leadership, ability to delegate authority, hold others accountable, and exceed assigned goals and objectives Strong problem-solving skills; ability to identify, anticipate problems before they occur Ability to grasp technical and customer issues and turn into business OnCare Digital Assets is an
