Job Title:
PC Imaging Technician (Windows 11)
Location:
3507 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53546
Onsite:
8AM - 5PM
CST / 40

Duration:
4.5-6 weeks
Job Description:
Perform Windows 11 imaging on desktop and/or laptop devices Follow client-provided imaging and configuration instructions accurately Validate successful image completion and perform basic post-image checks Track progress and maintain daily imaging counts Troubleshoot common imaging or hardware issues as they arise Escalate issues that fall outside documented procedures Handle devices with care and follow basic IT asset management practices Maintain a clean, organized workspace while handling large volumes of devices Experience Prior experience with PC imaging or device deployment projects Familiarity with Windows 10/11 installation and configuration Experience using imaging tools or processes such as: o PXE-based imaging o USB imaging o Deployment tools (e.g., SCCM/MECM, MDT, Intune, or similar) Comfortable imaging multiple devices per day in a production environment Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step procedures Ability to self-manage workload with minimal supervision Basic hardware knowledge (laptops/desktops, peripherals, BIOS access) Basic troubleshooting skills for imaging or boot-related issues Reliable attendance and strong time management Ability to stand, move, and handle equipment throughout the day

The ideal candidate has worked on prior PC imaging or deployment projects, is comfortable working through repetitive tasks at scale, and can stay productive without constant oversight. This role is well-suited for IT technicians, desktop support contractors, or deployment specialists seeking a short-term project.
