About the Role We are seeking a talented IT Support Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with hardware and software, as well as possessing a strong understanding of how computers, networks, and mobile systems work.
The ideal candidate will:
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues Providing timely, thorough technical support to end-users Following all departmental policies and procedures Digital and physical asset inventorying and tracking Executing all audits and assessments on a recurring schedule, as prescribed by your Supervisor Support a growing set of core software, including internal applications and customer-facing products Assist with training end-users regarding company-supported hardware and software Manage incoming support tickets efficiently, escalating as appropriate Creating documentation (network diagrams, instructions, process maps) as needed Participate as a team member/stakeholder in company technical projects, providing valuable input as needed Working with the Systems Administrator, define, document, and adhere to a well-defined set of policies and procedures Staying current with supported technologies Participate in off-hours server maintenance Contribute to cross-functional efforts as business needs arise, including one-time troubleshooting requests, longer-term project support, and direct assistance to customer-facing teams or end-user customers Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Experience providing technical support to non-technical end-users, both in-person and using remote access technologies Strong customer service skills, including a demonstrable level of patience and understanding for end-users' technical issues Strong technical troubleshooting skills Experience with RMM and MDM tools is a plus Eager to learn new technologies Carl's Place is an equal opportunity employer and adheres to EEO guidelines to provide employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
