Job Description

Reports To:
IT Manager Position Summary Responsible for handling day-to-day computing activities to ensure timely support of production and office employees. This role contributes to successful user interaction, departmental advancement, and operational efficiencies while focusing on understanding and quality of service. Key Responsibilities End-User Support
  • Act as primary point of contact and resolution for employees' technology questions.
  • Diagnose, repair and rebuild desktop and laptop computers according to company specifications.
  • Configure, deploy and troubleshoot IP phones, printers and peripherals.
  • Install copper, low-voltage and fiber to endpoint locations.
ERP and Central Data Support:
  • Assist in the implementation of SAP by acting as key support contact for account management and accessibility concerns.
  • Design labels for departmental/product usage for shipping or identification.
  • Monitor data locations, redundancy, validity and backup recoverability.
  • Monitor and patch networking infrastructure and independent hardware. Departmental Advancement
  • Utilize company learning resources to further understand interoperability.
  • Assist the IT manager in projects that foster business efficiency and growth. Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Associates' degree in Information Technology or related discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in a support or helpdesk-related role
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot Windows OS, network infrastructure and peripherals
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 30-50lbs and climb ladders (not simultaneously)
