Information Technology Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Do you have a customer service mindset, and a passion for technology? We are looking for a person with experience in supporting Microsoft Office, proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and who is willing to learn and take a proactive approach with resolving both hardware and software issues. This position will help you to gain valuable experience that will prepare you for a career in
IT. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to Help Desk calls and emails, log user inquiries and solutions into the ticketing system and update as needed Primary Support for Microsoft Office Suite Assist with running Windows updates Imaging of desktops and laptops Provide mobile device support (Apple and Android phones) Install, move, and maintain all PC's and other computer equipment Review weekly Help Desk calls to ensure that outstanding Help Desk issues dispatched to this position are resolved in a timely manner Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of conferences Familiarize yourself with and understand standard concepts, practices and procedures identified through software training Attend product education session on currently used products and keep up with new products within the industry Attend necessary internal training sessions as requested Transportation required for periodic travel to all Godfrey & Kahn offices
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset Proven ability of problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines Strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite IT Help Desk experience preferred but not required Ability to work flexible hours and travel to other offices as needed during peak times
