Service Desk Technician (Entry Level)

Oshkosh, WI (Onsite)Contract Length:
12+ months (Strong potential for extension or conversion) About the Role We are expanding an internal IT support team and seeking an Entry-Level Service Desk Technician to support a growing global user base. This role provides first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and chat and is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in a large enterprise environment. This organization is transitioning Service Desk operations from a managed service partner back in-house and is investing in long-term career paths, including tiered support and infrastructure growth opportunities. Shift Options Candidates must be able to work one of the following schedules after training: MondayFriday:
5:30 AM- 2:30 PM Tuesday
Sunday:
6:30 AM- 3:30
PM Training Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and chat Log, track, and manage incidents using ServiceNow Troubleshoot common issues related to: Office 365 / O365 (increased volume due to ongoing migration) Microsoft applications (Outlook, Office, Windows 10) Active Directory (password resets, access requests) Hardware and break/fix issues SAP-related user issues Escalate issues appropriately while delivering strong customer service Support end users with access requests and general IT inquiries Required Skills Help Desk or Service Desk support experience (academic, internship, or professional) Strong customer service and communication skills Basic technical troubleshooting ability Familiarity with: Office 365 / O365 Active Directory Windows 10 Ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) Comfort providing phone-based technical support Preferred Qualifications Experience in an enterprise IT environment Exposure to SAP Hands-on experience with hardware and printer troubleshooting Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, WI.
