Job Description

Overview Join our growing team as a Technical Support Technician / HVACR Technical Support Lead and become the front-line expert supporting customers, dealers, contractors, and field teams across the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional with extensive HVACR experience who can confidently take the lead on incoming service and technical support calls. In this position, you will troubleshoot equipment issues, guide customers and technicians through solutions, and provide expert support across a wide range of systems and brands. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of air conditioning equipment, well pumps, single-phase and three-phase systems, electrical troubleshooting, and field service best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in customer success while helping drive technical excellence across the organization. Duties Provide expert technical support for service and troubleshooting calls coming in from customers, contractors, dealers, and technicians across the US. Serve as the lead technical resource for HVACR-related issues, including diagnosis, support, and resolution of field problems. Troubleshoot air conditioning systems, well pumps, and related equipment across many manufacturers and brands. Support single-phase and three-phase equipment with strong understanding of controls, motors, electrical components, and system performance. Guide customers and service technicians through installation issues, startup concerns, service questions, and product performance troubleshooting. Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, specifications, and service documentation to assist with issue resolution. Document technical calls, service cases, and resolutions accurately in internal systems or ticketing platforms. Collaborate with internal teams including sales, engineering, operations, and product support to resolve complex technical issues quickly. Identify recurring field issues and provide feedback to improve products, installation methods, and support processes. Assist with technical training and support materials for dealers, contractors, and customers as needed. Qualifications Proven technical support or field service experience in HVACR, electrical systems, mechanical systems, or a related industry. Extensive hands-on knowledge of HVAC equipment, air conditioners, well pumps, and associated control systems. Strong familiarity with many equipment brands and the ability to troubleshoot across a broad range of manufacturers. Solid understanding of single-phase and three-phase power systems, motors, compressors, relays, capacitors, contactors, and controls. Ability to diagnose technical problems over the phone and provide clear, step-by-step guidance to technicians and customers. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and practical way. Experience using service platforms, support systems, or CRM/ticketing tools is preferred. HVACR certifications, electrical experience, EPA certification, or related technical credentials are a plus. Preferred Background HVACR technician, service manager, technical trainer, or manufacturer technical support experience. Experience supporting pumps, motors, compressors, generator-related equipment, or other electromechanical systems.
