The IT Help Desk Specialist will work closely with all IT staff to provide technical support for WCCU employees.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Help Desk Services for IT supported products and systems. Maintains the confidentiality of all information. Adheres to applicable general Credit Union policies and procedures. Demonstrates continuously a helpful, friendly attitude. Maintains a neat and orderly work area and ensures that all negotiables and confidential records are properly secured. Keeps abreast of changes in field of expertise. Maintains orderly documentation with attention to complete and accurate detailing of all problems or correspondence. Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
Work Relationships and Scope:
Reports directly to the IT Manager. Will have regular contact with all staff and employees of the IT department. Will also work with staff members from various other departments of the credit union.

Provide outstanding services to co-workers & members and thoroughly understand relevant issues and the administrative processes involved in choosing a proper course of action. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Education/Experience:
College degree in computer science related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows based computer systems, Microsoft Office. User administration skills for Microsoft Server, Microsoft Exchange and VMware. Knowledge of other technologies including telephones, printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to provide courteous and prompt service. Willingness to learn and adapt to new and changing technologies and systems. Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective, and efficient manner. Ability to attend to numerous details, with frequent interruptions, under the stress of maintaining courteous, accurate and timely relations with a variety of individuals. Knowledge and ability to apply current financial service industry standards, laws, and regulations. Ability to present ideas, report facts and other information clearly and concisely. Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient operation of a variety of general office equipment such as a computer, software applications, typewriter, copier, calculator, telephone, copy machine, fax machine and other similar devices or programs related to the position.
