Automation & Systems Assistant (APIs, Workflows, Web Support)

About the Role We are seeking a technical assistant to support the development and refinement of automation systems across multiple businesses, including property management, hospitality, and transportation. This is not a senior developer role. You will work directly with ownership, taking partially built systems, workflows, and ideas and completing, improving, and maintaining them. This role follows a structured execution model: Systems are designed at a high level You are responsible for building, refining, and completing them Final review and optimization is handled at the leadership level Responsibilities Complete and refine existing automation workflows Assist with building workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, or similar Connect systems using APIs (Google Sheets, QuickBooks, CRM systems, etc.) Update and maintain websites and internal tools Test workflows and troubleshoot issues Clean and standardize data (phone numbers, locations, formatting, etc.) Document workflows and processes Improve efficiency and consistency across systems Required Qualifications Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations Familiarity with JavaScript or similar (basic level is acceptable) Comfortable working with Google Sheets and structured data Strong attention to detail Ability to follow direction and complete partially built systems Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.) Basic web development experience Experience working with data workflows or integrations Exposure to AI tools or automation systems Work Environment Direct communication with ownership Fast-paced, execution-focused environment Clear tasks and expectations provided Emphasis on completing and improving systems efficiently What Success Looks Like Existing workflows are completed and improved Systems operate with fewer errors and manual steps Data is clean, consistent, and reliable Tasks are completed quickly with minimal supervision Application Instructions To be considered, include: Any examples of systems, automations, or projects you have worked on Tools or platforms you have used (Zapier, APIs, Google Sheets, etc.) A short explanation of how you would fix or improve a broken workflow

Pay:
