The Aviation & Mission Systems Intern will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Assist with the maintenance, design, development, and testing of systems Help with troubleshooting, data collection, testing, and resolving technical issues Learn and assist with various industry tools and technologies Collaborate with our team to achieve project goals and objectives

FOCUS AREAS

Computer Networking & Information Security - Basic understanding of computer networking and information security principles with a familiarity of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, etc.) Aerospace Engineering - Basic understanding of aerospace engineering principles with knowledge of Modular Open System Approaches (MOSA) across a variety of weapon systems design and development

Qualifications Required Education:

Currently enrolled in a STEM or technical degree path and three (3) years of college or work-related experience

Required Clearance:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in basic computer skills, virtual meeting, and using cloud based tools Solid work experience with customers/resolving issues while meeting schedule requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail Ability to encourage, inspire, and participate in teamwork Overview SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
