Comp:
$56-59/hr W2 + medical, dental, vision, 401k match Overview Seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer to support testing and validation of autonomous vehicle systems. This role focuses heavily on real-world, on-machine testing of large equipment, along with data analysis and collaboration with software engineering teams. What You'll Be Doing Design and execute test and validation plans for autonomous vehicle systems Perform hands-on testing directly on large equipment (not simulation-only) Collect and analyze test data to evaluate system performance and behavior Troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, and software systems Document findings and communicate results to engineering teams Work directly with software developers to diagnose issues and improve system functionality Work Breakdown ~50% hands-on testing on equipment ~50% data analysis, reporting, and engineering collaboration What You Need 5+ years (MS) or 7-8 years (BS) in: Test and validation engineering Systems engineering Vehicle systems, controls, or equipment-based environments Strong troubleshooting experience in complex systems (mechanical + electrical + software interaction) Hands-on experience working directly with physical equipment (not purely HIL/SIL or simulation) Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and findings Comfortable working in outdoor environments and climbing on/off large equipment Preferred Background Experience with large machinery or heavy equipment Exposure to autonomous systems (perception, planning, positioning) CANape, Vector, or similar data/logging tools Linux or Ubuntu environments Ability to read or interpret electrical schematics What Makes This Role Different Heavy emphasis on real-world validation vs. lab or simulation work Direct interaction with large autonomous machines Strong mix of field testing + data analysis + software collaboration #LI-DO1 #INDOEM
