General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer for our Space Development Agency (SDA) Ground Entry Point (GEP) program. As an I&T Engineer for our SDA GEP effort, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, building, and integrating critical Satellite Communications Ground Systems sites for our SDA customer. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations core defense/intelligence services and systems. Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, Satellite Communications, Antenna Systems, TroubleshootingREPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS
Support requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, detail trade studies, systems integration and test (verification), validation and interface definition studies of subsystem or system elements under supervision of the I&T Lead systems engineer Plans and executes project tasks for activities described by I&T Lead Assists in Developing test plans and test procedures to verify system and subsystem requirements Researches and analyzes data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application Assists in witnessed test events and assists in developing test reports Systems Integration Coordinates with Systems Engineering leadership and I&T Lead to support test plans and procedure development.
