Senior Cloud Infrastructure & AI Platform Engineer Location:
Concord, CA / Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ / Minneapolis, MN / Irving (Las Colinas),
TX Duration:
Long-Term Contract Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & AI Platform Engineer to lead enterprise cloud engineering initiatives focused on automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AI-enabled cloud services, and scalable Kubernetes-based platform solutions across GoogleCloudPlatform(GCP) and MS Azure environments. This role requires deep hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, Terraform automation, container orchestration, and modern AI/ML cloud services. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams, product teams, and cloud vendors to design, deploy, optimize, and support enterprise-scale cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead large-scale cloud engineering and infrastructure modernization initiatives across Azure and GCP Design, automate, and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies Develop reusable Terraform modules and GitHub-based CI/CD deployment workflows Build and support scalable Kubernetes/container-based cloud platforms Engineer and optimize enterprise cloud solutions for performance, reliability, security, and scalability Collaborate with product teams and cloud vendors to deploy innovative cloud-native services Implement cloud governance, monitoring, logging, and operational best practices Support AI/ML cloud enablement initiatives using Azure AI and GCP AI service offerings Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud platform and infrastructure issues Document architecture, operational procedures, and engineering standards Drive adoption of DevOps, SRE, and automation best practices across teams Work within a globally distributed engineering organization supporting enterprise cloud platforms Required Qualifications 5+ years of Software Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with: GCP and/or MS Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Enterprise cloud platform deployments 2+ years of hands-on Terraform experience Strong experience with GitHub and CI/CD automation pipelines Experience provisioning and managing Kubernetes-based infrastructure platforms Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including: VNETs DNS Load Balancers Firewalls
RBAC/IAM
Security Guardrails Experience with scripting and automation using Python and/or Shell scripting Experience with at least three of the following AI/ML cloud technologies: Azure AI Foundry Azure Machine Learning Azure AI Search Document Intelligence Vertex AI Document AI LLM platforms Agentic AI frameworks Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications in Azure and/or GCP Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Experience building large-scale AKS or GKE environments Exposure to cloud governance, observability, logging, and monitoring platforms Familiarity with: LangChain
MCP ADK A2A
