Competitive base + bonus + full benefits The Role We're hiring a Senior or Staff-level Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve the core data infrastructure powering real-world hardware and manufacturing systems. This is a hands-on, high-ownership IC role focused on real-time data processing, platform scalability, and system reliability. This is not an analytics or BI role - you'll be building the underlying systems that move, process, and serve mission-critical data with low latency and high availability. What You'll Build Large-scale data lake architecture and modernization Real-time streaming pipelines delivering sub-minute latency telemetry Backend data services built on top of the data platform Orchestration frameworks for batch and streaming workloads Highly reliable, observable systems with clear SLAs Secure platform deployments across constrained environments New platform capabilities alongside hardening and scaling existing systems What You Bring 6+ years of experience (Senior) or 8-10+ years (Staff) in software and data platform engineering Strong backend engineering experience on data-intensive systems Experience building and operating data lakes Hands-on experience with streaming and batch data systems Strong distributed systems and platform architecture fundamentals Core Technical Skills Python SQL Java or Scala Spark Kafka or Flink Why This Role Build and own the data backbone for real-world, mission-critical systems High ownership with real architectural influence Deep technical problems across streaming, reliability, and scale Strong partnership with senior engineers and cross-functional teams Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
