You will contribute to architectural discussions, create performant solutions, and participate in team development and knowledge growth. You will be a subject matter expert for live content acquisition, broadcast production and delivery. You will collect high-level project requirements, take ownership to lead cross-functional teams, and deliver first-class software. training and certification preferred Command line operations and/or experience using scripting languages (bash, python, other) to solve operational and technical challenges in production workflows BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent is preferred. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years experience in live broadcast engineering support and on-air production systems Experience with live encoding, video transport and/or cloud-based infrastructure Strong understanding of video production and remote production engineering Strong understanding of broadcast transport technologies Strong understanding of live HLS encoding technologies Ability to distill complex engineering solutions to production, business and product teams This role will require after-hours and weekend support Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
