Job Title:
Senior Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure (Python | AWS/Google Cloud Platform | Kubernetes)
Location:
Redwood City, CA (On-site) We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure to build scalable data platforms that support AI/ML applications. This role focuses on designing distributed data pipelines, processing large-scale multimodal data, and developing tools that improve data quality, visualization, and model evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Kubernetes, and AWS/Google Cloud Platform. Design systems for processing, validating, and managing large datasets. Develop internal tools for data visualization, observability, and workflow automation. Work closely with AI/ML and engineering teams to improve data quality and model performance. Optimize backend systems, databases, and distributed infrastructure.
Required Skills:
5+ years of software engineering experience. Strong Python programming skills (NumPy, Pandas). Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or other databases. Strong algorithms and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
React/TypeScript. Airflow, Kubeflow, or similar workflow tools. MLFlow or Weights & Biases. Experience with robotics, computer vision, LiDAR, or multimodal data.
