Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms. This role involves leading cloud modernization initiatives, driving DevOps and SRE best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable resilient, high-performing systems. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, container platforms, and migration to cloud-native architectures. Key Responsibilities Design and implement multi-cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure focusing on scalability, availability, security, and cost optimization Lead application and platform migrations from legacy systems to Kubernetes and OpenShift environments Architect and provision infrastructure for high-volume transactional and data-intensive workloads Define and enforce cloud governance, IAM, RBAC, network security, and compliance standards Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI Automate build, testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enable zero-downtime and blue-green deployment strategies Serve as a subject matter expert for Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms Configure namespaces, RBAC, ingress, routing, and multi-tenancy for container platforms Integrate secrets management and security practices into CI/CD pipelines Implement monitoring and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk Define and track SLIs and SLOs including uptime, latency, and performance metrics Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues Support production releases and post-deployment monitoring Lead data platform initiatives including ETL pipelines and analytics solutions Establish best practices for data governance, quality, security, and compliance Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, networking, QA, and architecture Contribute to platform strategy, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure Advanced expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines at scale Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS), and distributed systems Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Shell Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, governance, and compliance Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large-scale enterprise cloud migrations Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, and dbt Experience with monitoring, observability, and SRE practices Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, fintech, or retail Agile/Scrum experience and strong stakeholder communication skills
