Job Description
At Volt, our greatest strength is our people Volt is immediately hiring for Infrastructure Engineer - AURORA, CO What You Will Do Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management Provide operational support for the platform 12 month fulltime contract with potential for hire
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics, plus 5 years of relevant experience. Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go) Experience with RedHat Linux Preferred Skills Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab) Experience troubleshooting applications and infrastructure services on Linux-based operating systems Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef Experience developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework Background inCOTS/FOSS
