Job Description

Overview LMI is seeking a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) with deep expertise in SysML to support the development and representation of future space architectures, with a focus on sustained space maneuver and resilient orbital operations. In this role, you will lead the creation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts in SysML that translate conceptual architectures and analytical results into structured, interoperable system models. These models will support early-phase force design, architecture evaluation, and integration with external tools and analytical environments. This position is ideal for a systems engineer who can operate in ambiguous, concept-driven environments, and who excels at turning evolving ideas into coherent, defensible system models that inform decision-making. This is an on-site role in Colorado Springs, CO and requires an active TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility clearance and a willingness to obtain a CI Poly. LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed.
