This role provides technical leadership for verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness activities across complex satellite ground system environments. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with space-ground enterprise systems, mission system integration, IT infrastructure, automated testing, and DevSecOps-aligned development pipelines. This position will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, government stakeholders, and multiple vendors to support Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) activities while ensuring mission-critical systems meet operational and cybersecurity requirements. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities System Test & Integration

• Develop and execute system-level test strategies, test plans, procedures, and verification artifacts.
• Lead verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness activities across enterprise satellite ground systems.

Conduct:

o Functional testing o Integration testing o Regression testing o Performance testing o Cybersecurity testing o End-to-end mission system testing

• Validate software builds, configuration changes, and modifications to enterprise ground system components.
• Support operational demonstrations, certification milestones, and readiness reviews. ________________________________________ Technical Leadership
• Provide technical guidance to MDSEA System Engineers to ensure: o Test standardization o Performance target compliance o Mission readiness objectives
• Lead defect triage efforts and root cause analysis for complex system issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership during integration events and operational milestones. ________________________________________ Program & Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate test activities across: o Multiple vendors o Engineering teams o Agile development groups o Government stakeholders
• Manage and maintain the Integrated Master Test Schedule (IMTS) for: o DT/OT events o Integration milestones o Readiness reviews
• Prepare and deliver: o Test reports o Readiness assessments o Risk summaries o Technical briefings for leadership and government customers ________________________________________ Infrastructure & DevSecOps Support
• Test and validate enterprise IT infrastructure, including: o Servers o Networks o Storage systems o Virtualized environments o Mission-critical enterprise services
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automated testing into modern DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows through automated: o Builds o Deployments o Integration processes
• Ensure compliance with: o Configuration management standards o Cybersecurity requirements o Test documentation quality standards ________________________________________ Required Qualifications
• Extensive experience supporting satellite ground systems and enterprise mission environments.
• Strong background in system-level testing and integration activities.

Experience with:

o Verification & Validation (V&V) o DT/OT test events o Enterprise infrastructure testing o Automated testing frameworks

• Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps CI/CD environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and government stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and lead root cause analysis efforts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in secure DoD or classified environments. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Missile Defense, Space Systems, or National Security Space programs.
• Familiarity with Agile development environments.
• Experience supporting operational readiness reviews and certification events.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization, networking, and storage platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance requirements within DoD environments.
