DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES

All Points is seeking a dedicated Senior System Engineer (Big Data). The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Electrical Ground Support Equipment Software team . The candidate will apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, and/or troubleshoot software that performs Big Data management.

EDUCATION

Minimum requirement is BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Software), Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited college

SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

Extensive experience with Big Data Extensive experience with systems integration Experience with Apache Hadoop or AWS Experience with relational databases Expertise in Java full-stack development Knowledgeable in Python Knowledge of Telemetry systems and processing Experience with anomaly investigation and resolution Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives Ability to assist users and lab managers with data analysis Solid written or verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Must be a US citizen due to program requirements.

SALARY RAGE
