SIE develops, integrates, and delivers affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprise, cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data analysis and analytics along with premier operations and sustainment capabilities of space-based programs in support of national security. The System Engineering Lead Sr Stf position is a senior-level technical leadership position supporting the integration of software ground systems for the Hornet Phase 2 program. In this role, the candidate will be the technical leader of the System Engineering team, and all integration efforts throughout the program, serving as the Systems Engineering Product Owner. In this role, the candidate will ensure that objectives are executed in accordance with the program schedule and coordinated across multiple value streams within the program. The candidate will work closely with the Program Chief Engineer & Chief Architect to ensure all System Engineering activities are executed in accordance with internal & external requirements, standards, and procedures. Additionally, the individual will provide support to programmatic tasks such as reporting progress toward task completion, and supporting internal & external briefings within the team, with program leadership, and with the customer. This position is contingent on program award, expected in 3Q 2026. Basic Qualifications:
Prior experience in a team-level or program-level leadership role on a development / O&S contract Prior experience in a factory or system level engineering organization on a development / O&S contract Prior experience tracking & reporting on the progress of an engineering team effort to leadership Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI. US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) Proficiency with SysML and Cameo Experience with ground segment development Domain expertise in the Stinger portfolio - knowledge of customer, products and mission Experience with development phase design reviews including SRR, SDR, PDR, or CDR Experience with enterprise/system of systems design or integration Proficiency with Agile development tools, techniques and associated business rhythms Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across multiple teams Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills Prior experience working in a classified environment #

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
