POST DATE:
May 11, 2026 : We are seeking an experienced Monitoring Engineer / AIOps Engineer to support enterprise IT operations in a 24x7 environment. This role will focus on monitoring, event management, and performance optimization across a complex infrastructure using tools such as OpenText Operations Bridge, SiteScope, and Microsoft SCOM. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in monitoring platforms, ITIL processes, automation, and data-driven performance analysis, with the ability to improve system visibility and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and manage a unified Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Collect, analyze, and aggregate data to support ITIL processes (incident, event, problem, capacity, availability, and demand management) Configure, maintain, and optimize monitoring dashboards for infrastructure health and performance Assess and enhance monitoring capabilities to provide accurate, actionable alerts Deploy and manage Management Packs, connectors, and monitoring policies Perform event correlation and filtering to reduce noise and improve incident response Integrate data from monitoring tools such as OpenText OBM, SiteScope, and Microsoft SCOM Conduct proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures Create intuitive dashboards and reports for system performance and service status Required Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in monitoring, systems, or infrastructure engineering At least 2+ years of experience with OpenText tools (Operations Bridge, SiteScope, Optic, AIOps) Strong knowledge of multi-vendor server operating systems (Windows/Linux) Experience with monitoring protocols such as SNMP and WMI Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, or similar) Experience managing large-scale environments (250+ hosts / 3000+ sensors) Experience with monitoring tools such as SCOM, Zenoss, PRTG, Zabbix, or Nagios Strong understanding of monitoring across servers, storage, databases, networking, and applications Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting 24x7 operations environments Experience leading troubleshooting efforts or acting as a technical lead during outages Strong background in automation and alert-to-ticket workflows Experience integrating monitoring tools with ServiceNow Solid understanding of
ITIL/ITSM
