Job Description
- Software Washington, DC (On-Site/Office) Our client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to work fully onsite in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Understand and assist with the installation, configuration, and validation of the COTS software product in test and production environments. Coordinate integration activities with cross functional teams, including networking, server/VM administrators, identity and access management, and application owners. Evaluate system requirements, dependencies, and integration points to ensure compatibility and operational readiness. Understand, communicate, support and coordinate support activities including: Networking- such as ports, protocols, firewalls, and load balancers as required for system connectivity. Compute
- such as server and virtual machine provisioning, configuration, and performance tuning. Database
- collaborate with database teams to configure, query, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server instances. Identity and Access
- authentication and authorization mechanisms including single sign on and possess knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID. Integration
- work with APIs and integration frameworks, including Microsoft Graph, to support data exchange and system interoperability.
Minimum Skills Required:
Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse technical teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic project environments. Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams to resolve them. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting COTS product deployments in government environments. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST RMF, FedRAMP, or similar accreditation processes. Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation or integration tasks.group id:
