Systems Engineer:
TekSystems has an opening for a System Engineer in Niceville, FL Top Skills' Details 1. Navigation Systems Integration (GPS / INS / INU)
  • Handson experience integrating
GPS/GNSS
receivers and inertial navigation systems (INS/INU) into complex defense or aerospace platforms.
  • Understanding how multiple navigation sources are fused, validated, and tested for performance and accuracy.
  • Ability to verify navigation data integrity across hardware and software interfaces. 2. Systems Engineering
  • Integration & Test
  • Proven experience executing hardware and software integration testing in lab and range environments.
  • Handson troubleshooting of realtime system interfaces, sensors, and embedded hardware using test equipment.
  • Strong understanding of verification and validation (V&V) against system requirements. 3. Requirements & Technical Documentation
  • Full lifecycle systems engineering experience: requirements development, allocation, configuration control, and verification.
  • Ability to develop system artifacts such as:
  • Block diagrams
  • Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Serve as a frontside systems engineer for navigation systems, supporting design, integration, and test activities.
  • Integrate
GPS/GNSS
receivers, INS/INU units, and other navigation sources into complex defense systems.
  • Execute hardware and software integration testing in lab and range environments, using handson test equipment.
  • Load, configure, and support software builds, and work with software teams to validate functionality through defined test cases.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate system performance data to ensure navigation accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
  • Translate customer and mission requirements into systemlevel specifications, interfaces, and verification plans.
  • Develop and maintain system artifacts such as block diagrams and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Troubleshoot systemlevel issues across hardware, software, and interfaces, identifying root causes and driving resolution.
  • Support and participate in customer and internal technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
  • Provide periodic onsite and travel support for integration and test events.
