Salary min 93713 Salary max 135386 Infosys is seeking an MES Ignition Consultant This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Long Island City, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project location Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of Information Technology experience 7years of experience in supporting MES and Ignition systems within manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and MES systems integration. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as OPC, MQTT, and Modbus. Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Ignition & MES Experience with SQL databases and scripting for Ignition. Understanding of ISA-95 architecture and MES/OT integration layers. Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, network architecture, and cybersecurity standards. Preferred Qualifications:

Ignition certification is highly desirable. Experience with cloud-based monitoring or IIoT platforms is a plus. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems in CPG, automotive or heavy equipment industries. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Ready to travel across multiple sites The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
