Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Real-Time Payments Position Summary We are seeking a mid-level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and enhance real-time payment services, including Zelle integrations and API-driven platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise in observability, incident management, and high-availability systems. Key Responsibilities Support and manage real-time payment systems (e.g., Zelle instant payments) Work with API platforms, specifically Google Apigee Monitor system health and performance using observability tools Lead troubleshooting efforts and support incident/problem management Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability and scalability Implement best practices for system uptime, alerting, and resiliency Required Qualifications Experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role Strong understanding of real-time payment processing systems Hands-on experience with: AWS (cloud infrastructure) Containers (Docker/Kubernetes preferred) Splunk and Dynatrace (monitoring/observability) Experience with API management platforms (Apigee preferred) Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills Preferred Qualifications Financial services or banking experience Exposure to high-transaction, low-latency systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
