RF Engineer Job Description You will be the Defensive Systems Engineer - Level 2 for the AMMM Communication, Navigation and Sensors team which is responsible for the design, development, testing and production of avionic systems across all AMMM aircraft platforms. What You Will Be Doing As the Defensive Systems Engineer - Level 4 you will be responsible for leading technical efforts that span defensive and sensor systems, while driving integration and sustainment across the Marietta site.

Your responsibilities will include:

Define and translate customer requirements into system‑level and equipment‑level specifications, including occasional travel to customer sites once per month. Plan, execute, and oversee test campaigns at both equipment and aircraft levels, delivering reliable results on schedule. Develop proposals, task descriptions, effort estimates, and supporting documentation for new and sustainment projects. Coordinate with senior leadership, suppliers, and customers to align technical solutions with program cost and schedule goals. Assess task priority and complexity, creating work‑around plans that keep programs on track, and mentor less experienced engineers. • Understanding of the proposal process though customer delivery: System development, planning, customer interface, presentations, PDR/CDR, documentation, On AC testing (Functional Tests, etc)

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,900 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
