Field Systems Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions in the field, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of IT engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various clients and internal resources to achieve project goals. Duties Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project specifications and requirements. Conduct site assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications. Provide technical support during the installation, testing, and maintenance of systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays. Track and input time on a daily basis. Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, solutions for clients and internal documentation. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and future steps. Skills The successful candidate should possess a combination of required and preferred skills, including: Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, Experience with virtualization, specifically with VMware and Microsoft's Hyper-V, General Computer Usage (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and service ticket tracking), Minimum of 2 years computer industry work experience, LAN/WAN network administration preferred, prefer experience with remote systems monitoring and management Passionate about professional growth and customer care Customer service personality and likeability Professional, neat appearance Communication skills
