4049212 Job Summary Position - Enterprise Architect Location Chicago IL Day 1 Onsite Establish and operationalize the Enterprise Architecture (EA) function for our client under CIO leadership. Define the EA vision, governance model, operating framework, and engagement model across Business, Data, Applications, and Infrastructure. Partner closely with (CIO) and to align EA strategy with business transformation priorities, cloud roadmap, and modernization initiatives. Create clear architecture domains (Business, Platform/Foundation, Data, Integration, Agentic/AI) with defined ownership and accountability. Assess current Azure and hybrid landscape; define target-state architecture and phased transformation roadmap. Design and implement a scalable Self-Service Platform (SSP) model tailored to Mazda workloads, ensuring reuse, standardization, and cost efficiency. Lead cloud-first and AI-enabled architecture strategy, including governance for Copilot, OpenAI, and Agentic AI adoption. Establish architecture review board (ARB), standards, guardrails, and technical debt reduction framework. Define EA metrics (cost optimization, reuse %, AI infusion %, technical debt reduction, platform adoption) and publish executive dashboards. Build and mentor the EA team, define roles (Domain Architects, Platform Architects, Data Architects), and embed architecture discipline into delivery pods. The pay range for this role is $160k - $170k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
