Position Overview The Business Process Architect (BPA) Global Supply Chain (Logistics) is a key member of the MQ Technology at Lilly Global Supply Chain technology team, responsible for the ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of logistics, transportation visibility, and supply chain intelligence platforms. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology delivery teams, and strategic vendor partners across a portfolio of critical supply chain applications. The BPA brings deep expertise in supply chain logistics processes, platform product ownership, and vendor management to ensure Lilly's supply chain technology investments deliver measurable operational value. This individual will work closely with the Associate Director and other Business Process Architects to drive transformation initiatives across the GSC technology portfolio. Platform Ownership & Managed Services Serve as internal ship and deliver process architect for assigned logistics and visibility platforms including Transportation Management System (SAP TMS), BN4L, Real-Time Transportation Visibility, Freight Forwarder Application, Regional Transportation Hub, Yard Management System, ColdStream Select/SensiWatch, lane validation, and supply chain risk intelligence tools. Lead day-to-day operational oversight including issue resolution, enhancement prioritization, and vendor SLA management for non-ERP systems. Maintain platform health and ensure continuity of service for all supported applications Partner with Managed Application Services (AMS) vendors to govern support activities and drive continuous improvement Vendor & Stakeholder Management Manage strategic vendor relationships for assigned platforms, including Virtusa, Project 44, and CTSI Lead SOW development, negotiation, and execution in collaboration with Procurement and Legal Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor escalations, contract renewals, and capability assessments Engage cross-functional stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Global Supply Chain to align technology capabilities with business needs Project Delivery & Transformation Lead or support implementation of new supply chain technology capabilities in alignment with the GSC strategic roadmap Manage project activities including requirements definition, user acceptance testing, go-live planning, and hypercare support Contribute to capital investment planning, business case development including value realization, and portfolio prioritization Drive adoption and change management activities to ensure technology investments deliver intended business value Data, Analytics & Integration Partner with data engineering and analytics teams on integration workstreams, including data sharing frameworks and supply chain analytics foundations Support master data governance activities related to assigned platforms Ensure data quality and integrity across logistics and visibility platforms Governance & Compliance Maintain platform documentation, process maps, and operational runbooks Ensure platforms adhere to Lilly IT policies, security and cyber security standards, and validation requirements Manage user access governance for assigned applications in compliance with Lilly standards Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in supply chain technology, business process architecture, or IT product ownership Demonstrated7+ years of experience managing logistics or transportation technology platforms in a global pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing environment Strong vendor management skills with experience leading SOW negotiations and managing third-party service providers Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa Experience with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following platforms: SAP TM (Transportation Management including BN4L), Project 44, Paxafe, Transvoyant, Everstream, Altana, and ColdStream/SensiWatch Familiarity with Global Supply Chain processes including distribution, cold chain logistics, and freight management Experience in GxP-regulated environments with understanding of IT validation requirements Familiarity with data integration patterns, API-based connectivity, and supply chain analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, Power BI) Experience with portfolio management tools such as Monday.com or Smartsheet Competencies Ownership Mindset Takes full accountability for platform health, vendor performance, and stakeholder satisfaction without waiting to be directed Systems Thinking Understands how individual platforms connect to broader supply chain processes and technology architecture Collaborative Leadership Builds strong relationships across functions and with external partners; influences without authority Business Acumen Understands the commercial and operational impact of technology decisions on Lilly's supply chain performance Adaptability Thrives in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities, multiple concurrent workstreams, and ambiguous requirements Communication Excellence Communicates clearly and effectively in written and verbal form with audiences ranging from technical teams to senior leadership
Other Information:

The anticipated wage for this position is $124,500 - $182,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
