Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer in the Lexington, MA area is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and advise a government customer on acquisition strategy related to Systems Engineering services.
Daily responsibilities include:
Conduct reviews on program portfolios to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering processes, manage/sustain program technical baselines, and design/perform system-level tests to ensure subsystem and system performance meets approved specifications Perform program reviews to assess proposed plans, systems engineering approaches, design, and test results to ensure compliance with program specifications Prepare technical documentation defining and recommending system/subsystem characteristics; develop management reports and deliver technical presentations supporting planning, implementation, and corrective actions Perform system validation, including developing criteria and procedures, and analyze/evaluate results of major engineering systems Provide system/program engineering support, technical guidance, and training across the full lifecycle, including acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, and operations oversight Exact compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and education. Benefits begin on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA/FSA/DCFSA options, and a 401(k) with employer match. Employees are also eligible for paid sick leave and other applicable paid time off.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 3-5
years of experience with Windows Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, and FSMO Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity, including network topologies, ports/protocols, and ACAS scans Experience building and managing Windows virtual machines using ESXi and/or VxRail Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
