Job Description:
Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud) Hybrid | 60% Onsite We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support a Microsoft-centric infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role will work closely with infrastructure leadership to ensure high availability, security, and performance across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Design and manage identity and access controls across Active Directory and Azure AD environments. Architect and administer Microsoft Azure services and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Deploy and maintain Hyper-V virtualization platforms and high-availability clusters. Manage Windows Server environments and support enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS). Integrate third-party cloud and SaaS platforms with existing infrastructure. Implement and enhance security controls across cloud and on-prem systems. Develop disaster recovery, replication, and failover strategies for critical services. Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve incidents through root cause analysis. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools. Produce technical documentation and serve as a senior escalation point for the systems team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years managing Microsoft enterprise infrastructure. Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Hyper-V, Exchange (on-prem & Online), Microsoft Defender , and enterprise backup/storage platforms. Experience with PowerShell automation and enterprise monitoring tools. Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices in hybrid environments. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can lead infrastructure initiatives, support critical systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
