In partnership with Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, we are excited to launch the 2026 Internship Program with Tandym Group at Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.

Internship Overview:

This 11-week Summer Internship Program is an immersive experience tailored for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about science, medicine, and the potential to make a real-world impact. Interns will engage in meaningful, hands-on work and contribute to projects that reflect the complexity and excitement of the biopharmaceutical industry. Over the course of this engagement, interns will have exposure to a variety of departments, walking away with not only a strong understanding of their unique role, but also an understanding of a drug lifecycle as it enters the market, and various career pathways within the industry. The program offers a wonderful opportunity for students to directly interface with Executive Leadership and Key Stakeholders. As an Integration Engineering Intern, reporting to the Associate Director of Data Management and Integration, you will support the development and maintenance of Madrigal's enterprise integration solutions. This role provides hands-on experience working with SnapLogic middleware and API-based integrations to help connect systems, applications and data sources. You will learn how to enterprise systems exchange data, assist with workflow automation, and contribute to integration projects that support business operations. This position emphasizes learning, collaboration, and gradual technical growth under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities:

Assist in building, testing and maintaining integrations using SnapLogic middleware following established standards and best practices Support integration development using REST and SOAP APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML Help support integrations across cloud and on-premise applications, gaining experience with systems such as Workday, Coupa and NetSuite Assist with monitoring integration workflows, investigating issues and performing routine maintenance tasks Follow established data security, privacy, and compliance guidelines while working on integration tasks Work with engineers, analysts and project team members in an agile environment to understand requirements and contribute to integration efforts Build knowledge of middleware platforms, APIs and integration best practices through hands-on experience and mentorship

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field Basic programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, JavaScript, C# or Python Foundational understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON/XML) and software development concepts This internship is open to Junior and Senior level candidates (2027/2028 Graduation Year)
