Senior Systems Engineer z/
OS Location:
Bethesda , MD (2-3 Days / Week Hybrid)

Years Required Experience:
10+ years performing general z/OS systems programming 5+ years performing installation, maintenance, configuration, and support of a wide range of IBM, Broadcom, BMC, and other ISV products 3+ years mainframe hardware configuration and network configuration/management 3+ years z/OSMF customization and usage. Perform various z/OS systems programming tasks
Desired Experience:
Coupling Facility, SYSPLEX, and Structures Performance monitoring and tuning Storage (DASD and virtual tape) management Assembler and REXX programing.
Other Requirements:
Inclusion in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support Perform analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Update and create system documentation, as necessary.
