Systems Engineer

Technical CompetenciesDeep understanding of SAFe principles, practices, and competencies at the Solution Train levelExpert knowledge of Agile Release Train operations and coordinationStrong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevSecOps practicesUnderstanding of Lean Portfolio Management and Value Stream conceptsExperience with multi-ART coordination, dependency management, and solution-level planningKnowledge of system requirements management, interface control, and configuration managementExperience with requirements traceability, verification, and validation approachesProficiency with configuration management and version control systemsExperience with collaboration tools supporting distributed teams (MS Teams, Confluence, SharePoint)Ability to create technical diagrams and visualizationsFamiliarity with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera)Exceptional facilitation skills for large, diverse audiences across multiple organizationsProven servant leadership mindset with demonstrated coaching abilityAbility to lead without authority and influence across organizational boundariesExperience facilitating consensus-building and conflict resolution in complex environmentsCapability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent activities and stakeholder groupsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
Required SkillsA High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general system engineering experience.
A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
