Posted 1 day ago Top Secret/SCI Unspecified CI Polygraph IT - Software Hanover, MD (On-Site/Office) Title Systems Engineer (Journeyman) Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description RiVidium Inc. seeking a skilled Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support DoD programs in designing, maintaining, and improving complex systems. The ideal candidate will assess system performance, identify problems, provide solutions, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess systems, determine issues, and provide effective solutions to technical problems. Design, upgrade, and maintain systems while brainstorming potential improvements for future capabilities. Collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and IT staff during system creation, implementation, and maintenance. Develop and implement control features to ensure systems meet organizational quality standards. Conduct quality control procedures to ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and operational. Perform cost-benefit analyses to develop cost-efficient solutions for projects.Required Qualifications:
Education:
BS in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. One academic year in a related post-secondary program may substitute for one year of experience. Two years of industry experience may substitute for one year of DoD experience (up to two years credit).Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD programs.Skills:
Strong problem-solving, system design, collaboration, and quality control skills; ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend system improvements.Work Environment:
