Posted 1 day ago Top Secret/SCI Unspecified Unspecified IT - Software Hanover, MD (On-Site/Office) Title Systems Engineer (Senior) Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description RiVidium Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support DoD programs in the design, maintenance, and improvement of complex systems. This role involves problem-solving, system upgrades, quality control, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess systems, identify problems, and provide solutions to technical challenges. Design, upgrade, and maintain systems while identifying potential future improvements. Collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and IT staff during system creation, implementation, and maintenance. Develop control features to ensure systems meet organizational quality standards. Conduct quality control procedures to ensure systems are efficient and operational. Perform cost-benefit analyses to develop cost-effective solutions for projects.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

MS in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. One academic year in a related post-secondary program may substitute for one year of experience. Two years of industry experience may substitute for one year of DoD experience (up to five years credit).

Experience:

Minimum of ten (10) years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD programs.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving, system design, collaboration, and quality control skills; ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend system improvements.

Work Environment:
