About The Role
Peraton is hiring an Integration Systems Engineer (ISE) Support Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a systems engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide Engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at the customer site.
As an ISE Support Systems Engineer on our team you will support, and work closely with, the customer ISE performing a wide variety of tasks requiring a strong systems engineering background and experience as well as a foundation in architecture and senior staff level communications.
Responsibilities include: developing, documenting and/or analyzing operational and system architectures based on the UAF framework using the Cameo tool; providing "as required" support to the ISE on various tasks addressing the orchestration and integration of multiple programs, organizations, capabilities, products and services required to achieve desired outcomes; and managing more junior systems engineers, as assigned. Supporting the transition of capabilities and the decommissioning of obsolete systems will be one of the priority tasks. This will involve using the existing architectures and/or documenting missing architectures as needed to understand the current systems and interfaces to ensure a smooth process. You will support the capture of new architectures in Cameo as needed to reflect the revised as-is architecture. #AJCM
Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience.
Note:
a High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
- Experience with the Cameo architecture modeling tool, or other similar architecture tool.
- Able to work with top-level government management and to work as a team member.
- Strong in writing and communications skills.
Details Target Salary Range:
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.Benefits Statement:
