We are looking for a results-driven Enterprise Architect to join the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center team at Fort Meade, MD.This role is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to contribute to critical national security efforts. The NC3 Enterprise Center serves as the Department of Defense's lead organization for enterprise-level systems engineering and architecture for NC3. Under the leadership of the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), the team leverages subject matter expertise and best practices to transform mission and operational requirements into effective solutions and capabilities.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will help develop Fit-For-Purpose enterprise level architecture viewpoints through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) based on Authoritative Source of Truth (ASoT) to support engineering analysis and data-driven decision-making by senior leaders that enables the modernization and evolution of NC3 capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, including system and operational views, using modeling tools such as Cameo to support total system requirements, present and future cross-functional needs, and modernization efforts for NC3 systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Security Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI clearance (mandatory) .Education:
BA or BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or educational equivalentExperience:
5+ years in the following:- Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM) compliance.
- Digital Mission Engineering Environment.
- Systems modeling language (SysML).
- Developing architecture artifacts per industry standards.
- Aligning Enterprise Architecture with Scaled Agile Framework.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MBSE, and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira).Communication:
Strong written/verbal skills for technical documentation and presentations.Work Style:
Ability to manage multiple tasks in an agile, dynamic environment.Desired Qualifications:
- Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
- The Open Group Framework (TOGAF) certification.
- DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) certification.
- Experience with systems engineering and enterprise architecture for high assurance communications systems.
- Background in NC3 architecture/performance analysis and engineering design.
- Knowledge of National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) or Senior Leader Command, Control, and Communications Systems (SLC3S).
