Job Description Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Cloud operations & support Supporting multiple AWS production accounts Maintaining Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code Supporting AWS services, pipelines, and deployed workloads Performing updates and upgrades
  • 30%
  • Net-new cloud development & architecture Building new AWS infrastructure and services Designing and improving cloud architectures Partnering with Data Engineers on data workload migrations
  • 20%
  • Optimization, monitoring & collaboration Managing GitHub repositories and CI/CD pipelines Monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch Applying FinOps practices for cost optimization Guiding networking teams on hybrid connectivity and private links Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Support AWS production environments using Terraform Build and maintain AWS pipelines and cloud services Own deployed infrastructure end-to-end Perform cloud updates, upgrades, and lifecycle management Architecture & Cloud Enablement Contribute to AWS cloud architecture design Support net-new cloud development initiatives Guide networking strategy with on-prem teams Support limited Azure workloads as needed Monitoring, Security & Operations Monitor AWS environments using Datadog and CloudWatch Partner with Security teams on cloud best practices Support operational readiness and production stability Participate in an on-call rotation including occasional off-hours support
Compensation:
$130k to $150k, Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.   • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
  • Strong hands-on Terraform experience in production AWS environments
  • Deep experience operating AWS workloads
  • Experience supporting production cloud systems
  • Strong Python scripting skills
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and observability (Datadog preferred)
  • Solid cloud security fundamentals
  • Strong networking knowledge including private connectivity
  • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost management
  • Collaborative, ownership-driven personality AWS certifications (SysOps or Solutions Architect
  • Associate or Professional)
  • Containerization experience (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)
  • Advanced observability tooling experience
  • On-prem infrastructure experience (VMware, enterprise environments) Azure experience
