Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced ADAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support production programs and customer engagements for Level 2 and Level 3 ADAS systems. This role combines deep domain expertise with customer interaction, solution shaping, and business‑driven technical leadership. The ideal candidate can confidently discuss ADAS technologies, support production programs, and convert customer needs into technically sound and scalable solutions. Responsibilities Act as a Subject Matter Expert for ADAS systems , supporting Level 2 and Level 3 programs. Contribute to production ADAS programs , from system definition through integration, validation, and SOP. Support HIL, system engineering, or integration activities across ADAS functions. Engage directly with OEM and Tier‑1 customers through technical discussions, workshops, presentations, and demos . Translate ADAS requirements into technical architectures, project approaches, and delivery strategies . Support proposal development, solution definition, and early‑phase project planning . Provide technical leadership during design and architectural decision‑making . Mentor engineers and guide teams on best practices and system‑level thinking . Align closely with business stakeholders to ensure technology decisions support customer and business goals . Stay current with emerging trends, including AI‑driven ADAS technologies .
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Automotive, or related field). 10-12 years of experience in ADAS engineering within OEM, Tier‑1, or engineering services environments. Proven experience delivering production ADAS programs (Level 2 and/or Level 3). Strong domain knowledge of ADAS functions such as ACC, AEB, and related systems. Experience with HIL, system engineering, integration, or validation . Ability to discuss ADAS technologies from a system‑level and production‑oriented perspective . Experience in an engineering services or consulting organization is strongly preferred. For candidates from product companies, a holistic understanding of ADAS systems beyond a single module is required. Strong business acumen and customer‑facing communication skills. Interest in AI and future mobility technologies . Willingness to work onsite in Michigan due to close customer interaction . Demonstrated ability to grow into a technical or business leadership role .
